Is my idea safe when I submit it?
Yes. Your idea is private and secure. We don't share, use, or claim ownership of your ideas. Think of us like web hosting—we provide the platform infrastructure, but you own 100% of your intellectual property. For legal IP protection like patents, consult a patent attorney.
What is Proof of Invention?
A timestamped blockchain certificate proving you documented your idea on a specific date. This is NOT a patent or legal IP protection—it's simply a dated record stored on the Optimism blockchain. For actual patent protection, consult a patent attorney. The certificate can serve as supporting documentation in IP disputes but carries no legal weight on its own.
How fast will my smoke test be ready?
~5 minutes for AI generation. Your landing page, Stripe integration, traffic playbook, and analytics dashboard are created automatically. You'll receive a unique link immediately. The page is live and ready to share as soon as generation completes.
What if I get zero interest in my smoke test?
If you follow our traffic playbook for 30 days and get zero traction (no clicks, signups, or purchase intent), we'll personally audit your test, provide 3 specific pivot strategies, and offer a full refund if you want out. Less than 5% of founders request refunds because the validation process works.

Do I pay $49 now or later?
You pay $49 when you submit your idea. Payment is processed immediately via Stripe. You get instant access to your generated smoke test package (landing page, payments, traffic plan, analytics, proof of invention certificate). This is a one-time payment for lifetime access to your test.
What's included in the $49?

Do you offer refunds?
Yes. 30-day money-back guarantee. If you follow our traffic playbook and get zero traction, we'll audit your test, provide pivot strategies, and refund your $49 if requested. We also refund for technical issues that prevent your test from working. Refund rate is <5%.
Can I run multiple smoke tests?
$49 is per idea. Each smoke test gets its own landing page, analytics, and unique link. If you're testing multiple ideas or variations, you'll need separate smoke tests. We recommend validating one core idea first, then testing variations based on initial data.

Do I need technical skills to use this?
No. That's the whole point. AI generates everything—landing page code, Stripe integration, copy, traffic strategies. You just fill out a form describing your idea. No coding, no design work, no technical setup required. If you can use Google Docs, you can use IdeaSmokeTest.
Can I customize the generated landing page?
Yes. You get the full HTML/CSS source code. Edit copy, change colors, add sections, modify layouts—it's yours to customize. Advanced users can integrate with custom domains, analytics tools, or email services. Basic users can use it as-is.
What analytics do I get?
Real-time dashboard tracking: visitors, clicks, conversion rate, traffic sources, time on page, and purchase intent. Data updates live as people interact with your test. No Google Analytics setup required, but you can add GA4 if you want deeper tracking.

Where is my data stored?
Vercel (hosting), PostgreSQL database (encrypted at rest), Optimism blockchain (proof of invention only). We're SOC 2 Type II compliant. Daily backups. Only encrypted production data. EU data stays in EU data centers (GDPR compliant).
Can I export my data?
Yes. Download analytics as CSV, export landing page source code, get full visitor data. You own your data. If you want to migrate off our platform, you can take everything with you. No lock-in.
Do you sell my data or ideas?
Never. We make money from $49 smoke tests, not from selling your ideas or data to third parties. Your idea submissions are confidential. We don't train AI models on your ideas. We don't share them with anyone.
